This Vendor Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Washr Mobile Inc. (“Washr Mobile,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information from independent contractors and business partners (“Washr Pro’s”, “Vendors,” “you,” or “your”) who provide mobile detailing and related services through the Washr Mobile platform (the “Platform”).
By registering for, accessing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to its terms.

Mobile Information and Text Messaging Privacy
Washr Mobile respects your privacy and protects your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
1. Scope and Data Controller
Washr Mobile Inc., headquartered in Los Angeles, California, is the data controller responsible for the collection and processing of Vendor information.
This Policy applies exclusively to data collected from Vendors and Washr Pros who provide services through the Platform.
For purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), Washr Mobile processes personal data under one or more of the following lawful bases:
Performance of a contract
Compliance with legal obligations
Legitimate business interests
Consent (where applicable)
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information to facilitate operations, payments, and compliance:

3. How We Use Your Information
We process Vendor information to support platform operations, legal obligations, and service quality.
Service Provision:
Matching Vendors with customer bookings
Processing payments and commissions
Verifying insurance coverage and qualifications
Managing schedules and work zones
Platform Operations:
Performance tracking and quality assurance
Customer service and dispute resolution
Fraud prevention and account verification
Platform improvement and analytics
Legal and Compliance:
Tax reporting and audit compliance
Insurance verification and claims coordination
Responding to lawful requests and court orders
Communication:
Sending job notifications and updates
Providing customer and technical support
Announcing important policy or platform updates
Sending marketing communications (only with consent)
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Washr Mobile does not sell or rent Vendor information. Data is shared only as necessary to operate and support the Platform:
With Customers:
Display name and profile photo
General location and service area
Ratings and reviews
Insurance information in case of claims
With Third-Party Service Providers:
Stripe for payment processing
Email and cloud service providers for communication and storage
All third-party partners are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations consistent with this Policy.
For Legal Compliance:
We may disclose information to:
Law enforcement or regulatory agencies upon lawful request
Tax authorities for reporting purposes
Insurance carriers in connection with a claim
Courts or legal entities under a subpoena or order
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect Vendor information, including:
Encryption of data in transit and at rest
Access controls and authentication measures
Regular security audits and vulnerability testing
Secure payment processing through Stripe
Employee training on data protection and privacy
In the event of a data breach, Washr Mobile will notify affected Vendors without undue delay, in accordance with applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain Vendor data only as long as necessary for legitimate business and legal purposes:
Account and profile data: retained while active
Financial records: retained for 7 years for tax compliance
Performance and rating data: retained for quality assurance
Communication logs: retained for 2 years
Insurance documents: retained until expiration or replacement
After these periods, data may be anonymized or securely deleted.
7. Location Tracking
To facilitate service dispatch and customer transparency, Washr Mobile collects location data when Vendors are active on the Platform.
Use of Location Data:
Matching jobs within your service radius
Real-time tracking during active jobs
Service area verification
Privacy Controls:
Vendors may disable location tracking within the app, though doing so may limit access to bookings.
Historical location data is anonymized after 30 days.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:
Access and Portability:
You may request a copy of the personal data Washr holds about you.
Correction and Updates:
You may update your information through the vendor portal or by contacting support.
Deletion (“Right to Be Forgotten”):
You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.
Restriction or Objection:
You may object to certain types of processing (e.g., marketing) or restrict processing in specific cases.
Withdrawal of Consent:
If you previously consented to marketing or optional data use, you may withdraw your consent at any time.
Washr Mobile will respond to valid requests within 45 days, as required by applicable law.
9. Data Transfers and International Processing
Vendor data may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where Washr Mobile or its service providers operate.
By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers.
For EU-based individuals, Washr Mobile ensures appropriate safeguards are in place under GDPR Articles 44–49, including use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for cross-border data transfers.
10. Children’s Privacy
Washr Mobile does not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from individuals under the age of 18. Vendors must be at least 18 years old to register and perform services.
11. Data Breach Notification
If Washr Mobile becomes aware of any unauthorized access or disclosure of Vendor data, we will notify affected parties and relevant authorities without undue delay, consistent with applicable data protection laws.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted on the Platform with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

California residents are entitled to the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Los Angeles County, California, consistent with the Washr Mobile Vendor Terms and Conditions.
