Mobile Information and Text Messaging Privacy

Washr Mobile respects your privacy and protects your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Washr Mobile Inc. (“Washr,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates a mobile application and web platform that connects customers with independent car wash service providers.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile app, website, or related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Washr Mobile.

2.1 Personal Information

When you create an account or use our services, we collect:

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Profile photo (optional)

  • Referral code (if applicable)

2.2 Payment Information

All payments are processed by Stripe.
We do not store your full payment card data. Stripe securely manages:

  • Card details (encrypted and tokenized)

  • Billing address and ZIP code

  • Transaction and refund history

2.3 Location Information

We collect location-related data to provide on-site services:

  • Service addresses (street, city, ZIP)

  • Geolocation (if enabled on your device for booking convenience)

You may disable location access at any time through your device settings, but doing so may limit functionality.

2.4 Vehicle Information

To perform detailing services, we collect:

  • Vehicle make, model, year, and color

  • Vehicle type and size

2.5 Service Information

Includes:

  • Booking history and preferences

  • Selected packages and add-ons

  • Ratings, reviews, and uploaded photos (if any)

2.6 Device and Technical Data

Collected automatically for performance and security:

  • Device type and OS (iOS/Android)

  • App version and crash logs

  • Push notification tokens

  • IP address and session identifiers

  • Usage data and analytics (via Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar tools)

2.7 Account Security
  • Encrypted passwords (never visible to staff)

  • API and authentication tokens

  • Two-factor authentication (if enabled)

We use your data to:

  • Operate, personalize, and improve the Service

  • Process bookings and payments

  • Communicate updates and confirmations

  • Match customers with nearby service providers

  • Send push notifications and reminders

  • Handle customer support requests

  • Manage promotions, referrals, and credits

  • Monitor service quality

  • Comply with legal and tax obligations

  • Detect and prevent fraud or misuse

We may aggregate and anonymize data for internal analytics or product improvement.

4.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4.2 Service Providers

We share limited information with trusted third parties who enable our operations:

  • Stripe – Payment processing

  • Google Maps API – Location and address lookup

  • Apple Push Notification Service / Firebase – App notifications

  • Authorized Detailers – Limited info necessary to complete services (name, address, vehicle, service details)

4.3 Legal and Compliance

We may disclose data when required to:

  • Comply with legal or regulatory obligations

  • Respond to lawful requests from authorities

  • Protect Washr’s rights, users, or property

  • Investigate or prevent potential fraud

We use industry-standard security measures:

  • HTTPS encryption for all communication

  • Secure payment tokenization through Stripe

  • Limited employee access to user data

  • Regular security monitoring and audits

Despite these measures, no digital platform is completely secure. Users share information at their own risk.

We retain information only as long as needed to provide services and comply with law:

  • Account data: until deletion or inactivity (7 years max)

  • Payment records: 7 years (tax and accounting)

  • Service history: 3 years for quality assurance

  • Location data: until service completion or account deletion

You may:

  • Access your personal data

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Delete your account (“Right to be Forgotten”)

  • Export your data in machine-readable format

  • Opt out of marketing or push notifications

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California users can request:

  • Disclosure of categories of data collected

  • Deletion of personal data

  • Opt-out of any data sharing or sale (we do not sell data)

Submit CCPA-related requests via support@washrmobile.com or by mail to our listed address.

If you access Washr Mobile from outside the United States, your data will be processed and stored in the U.S., subject to U.S. privacy laws.

Washr Mobile does not track users across apps or websites for advertising.
If future features require tracking (for analytics or personalization), we will request your explicit permission in accordance with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will appear here with a revised “Last Updated” date. Significant changes will also be communicated via email or in-app notification.

Washr Mobile Inc. Governing Law

  • These terms of privacy are governed by the laws of California, USA.

  • Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis.

  • Class action and jury trial waivers apply.

If you would like to delete your Washr Mobile account and all associated data, please contact us at Support@washrmobile.com. We will process your deletion request within 48 hours.
